Prefabrication Services—How They Benefit Your Project

Prefabrication is becoming more common in construction. If you know about prefabrication services (also known as modular construction), you probably connect it to the mass production of buildings, such as homes in a suburban housing project. That is one use for prefabrication, but unfortunately it often leads people to think that this construction process is only for low-quality, inexpensive projects that need to be churned out like in a factory.

But prefabrication has multiple uses. All it means is that many of the components of a construction project (walls, steel frames, plumbing, HVAC equipment, sheet metal) are manufactured off-site and then transported to the site for assembly and integration, rather than building the components on-site.
