Absher completed the 94,000 SF Names Family YMCA, replacing the aging facility with a modern, two-story complex featuring three pools, upgraded locker rooms, expanded fitness areas, a full climbing wall, community rooms, and enhanced childcare spaces. Built adjacent to the operational YMCA, Absher carefully phased construction to maintain year-round programming and ensure visitor safety. The project is a high-performance facility that expands capacity for swim lessons, youth programs, and wellness activities for the Tacoma community.
